I spent quite a bit of money setting up a site around his product, however, this was sometime back, then shortly after my site was completed, this dude vanishes from clickbank, and I mean 100% gone, and his site is DOA. He made a post here in 2016 https://forums.digitalpoint.com/thr...affiliates-make-up-to-2-71-per-click.2772408/ I guess this is the risk when building sites around someone elses product.... any ideas? Thanks
I know... I was just curious on why he blew town, when he was claiming to be killing it... (see his thread)
Possibly the product got disapproved by Clickbank for whatever reason and the guy hasn't published it anywhere else. Quite common nowadays, especially in the health niches.
anything is possible... he was not a newbie, and his product was on CB for quite some time.... maybe the "well" ran dry and he decided to call it quits, I dunno...
Business is risky. One never has complete control over the outcome. Generally, you reap what you sowed. Then again, there are just those times, when you cleared the weeds, toiled the field, sowed the best seeds, showed up regularly to water the plants and spray pest-repellents. You took extreme joy, in watching, your crops blossom. Yet, just before the harvest, disaster struck. Who knows, hurricanes, landslide, wild-fire, etc. And there you are, with no harvest. Life!!! That's what it's called. It's just such a planet. You can't always guarantee the outcome.
tell me about it... I spent quite a bit of money on that harvest, then to find out that the harvest got up, and walked away during the night... even worse when you are affiliate, and not the owner... and I guess it can go both ways, maybe something happened to him that was out of his control, or maybe the niche was not making him money anymore, who knows...
I’m an active member of both clickbank.com and click2sell.eu My research on both platforms revealed a complete absence of any alternative “flatulence” products. On first glance, that’s a good thing because it means that anyone who makes a product will not have any competition to deal with. The absence of any “flatulence” products on both clickbank.com and click2sell.eu begged the question; “Why?” The answer is stunningly obvious. The keyword “flatulence treatment” gets approximately 400 searches per month. Even without competition, the ROI is not likely to be worth the effort. As a general rule, never waste your time and money on any product whose keyword generates less than 1000 searches per month. I do not know why, the creator of the clickbank.com flatulence-product absconded town; but my guess, is that, whatever ROI he was getting wasn’t sticking around for.
