If you have specific suggestions on how to make improvements, we always listen and if it's a good idea (and possible), we will implement it. But not a lot we can do if you don't tell us what the issues are that you are having.
Hi, Shawn. I have issue with selling links on Link Sales (BST) forum. When we had posted a domain for selling links, we can not post new thread with this domain again. The main issue is.. for example if we have 30 domains/sites for selling links, and we had posted all the 30 domains on Link Sales forum last month, so we can not list/post them again this month or next months (except bump one of them every month for established members and four of them every month for premium members). The second issue is.. we can not change the title if the domain/site has changed for example the PageRank, etc which stated on the post title.
1. It's intentional. The stuff is still listed, but if everyone could bump as often as they wanted, you would have the same issue of your sales being pushed down because everyone else also bumped all the time. The only way it would work would be if only you could bump and no else could (obviously that's not going to happen). You can bump more often as a premium member if you really needed to. I guess I'm not sure what your suggestion actually is... To allow everyone to bump as often as they like? 2. You can edit title when you edit the first post (just click on the advanced option).
Actually, this is also what I think. I still don't have the best suggestion for this condition, just want to share my issue for selling links. It's not good to allow everyone to bump as often as they like. How if the thread of a domain will be deleted after a period for example 3 months, and we can make new thread of that domain again after that period?
You'd also have people complaining about that because they are losing their sale thread automatically after a certain amount of time. Either way, don't see that happening... it ultimately would still come down to the same issue. If everyone created new/duplicate threads every 3 months, it still doesn't solve the problem that you personally are having (your threads being pushed down) because you simply would have everyone creating new threads just like you would be.
This forum did change for the better. It's the only reason I found xenForo and fell in love with it. If DP hadn't moved to the better side, I would still be with vBulletin, eek! This site is perfect now, and just because you cant navigate a site doesn't mean others can't. Post useful content, get likes and you'll be able to do things Liam
