What Happened to BlueFind?

Used to be an awesome directory.. but what happened to it?

The page I paid 50$ for used to be a PR7.. now that page is not even indexed / cached

Any other good (high-pr) directories like bluefind around?

Google has been doing really strange things lately. One my pages isn't indexed anymore. It's been out of the index for close to a week now. The rest of the site is still indexed though.

Have you noticed how long this page has been missing?

I think bluefind directory has been over exposed, the equivalent sevenseek directory is doing a much better job.
I do agree with livingwithadd that strange things are happening.. Maby it has all to do with the big update coming up.

 

Overexposed.....promoted by the owners and "suspicious supposed friends" themselves.....raw partnerships and referrals to build the directory....the list goes on and on.

I watched the directory come from nothing and get promoted all which ways. It used to seem like a good thing, but then it supposedly switched hands,etc etc.

I personally have not paid for any listing within but know that they "used" to be a decent link. Now I am not sure since I have stopped the following.

I take it that BlueFind became the old flavor, and the owner basically turned enough dollars and decided to move on to his next one. Business as usual.

It seems as though the Homepage has kepts its nice PR ranking while internal pages have seemed to slip away. I've been watching these internals randomly and haven't seen them update in forever.

Bluefind was the forerunner when the era of link buying and building was at it's peak.
But as any unnatural optimization it's success was limited by time.

 

Plus some bold statements by the owners that they were going to build a search engine, that did not help them with Google
