There was an extreme and unfortunate accident with the owner of the directory. Her name was Toni Chee, and she got into a car wreck with herself, husband and children. Unfortunately Toni did not make it, and was survived by her husband and children.
Thursday August 19, 2010 Please pray Toni Chee and family Toni and her family were in a severe car accident last night around 6pm. All the 4 kids were held overnight for observation and I am not sure of their status yet. Her husband was released last night. Toni is suffering from a concussion and head/face trauma as well as 3-4 broken bones, including her hip, ankle and right arm. She is in surgery when I spoke to her husband. Apparently, she will have to have a series of at least 3 surgeries. I will know more later today. J. Sunday August 22, 2010 Update on Toni Chee. Toni's husband Sam and the 4 kids have all been released from the hospital. Toni took a turn for the worse this weekend after the accident Wednesday night. They were unable to set the bones in her leg and ankle thursday due to complications. Her pulse ox went very low and she coded Friday evening. Pneumonia and blood clots have set in her lungs as as well as brain swelling. She is now in ICU, is unresponsive with a fever of 106. Please keep all them in your prayers! J. August 24, 2010 Toni has suffered massive hypoxic injury to her brain and has been declared legally brain dead. Family is on their way, and she will be taken off life support in the next day or so. She is an organ donor. Please keep the recipients, husband Sam, 6 kids (Connor 3 weeks old, Ella 2, Emily 5, Steven 12, Gage 15 and Nick 19) and family in your prayers. J. And let me just say, that Toni woman was one of the nicest people I have ever had the pleasure of dealing with. So kind, that when I myself caught the Flu last year, she checked in on me several times. What had happened with her did have an impact on my own personal thoughts and feelings, and I backed out of a lot of online things I was into to spend more time with my own family, because you just never know.
I don't think he meant anything disrespectful by that comment. Remember English is not a first language for many here and a lot of the incidentals are lost in translation.
Oh no...that's so sad- the same happened to my dad. There are no words.. Sending courage to everyone whose lives are in pain
