I think H1 Tag should be only 1 time in the content because it describes the content of whole page.

The alternative to use H1 for only one time and H2 for multiple times for describing different topics in your content.

Set H1 tag like it covers both the different topics in it.

And set H2 Tags separately for describing both topics.

Look Here for More Information on H1 Tags and It's usage:

If u will use more then once then google will not give importance for h1 tags on the pages of ur website so they will be like of no use or help in getting some benefit in ur rankings.

Agreed... I have never tried using more than one h1 tag but being as its an important tag you should use it once effectively to target your main search term for that page. I'd say using it more than once will either a) water down the effectiveness of the tag if you are using different text for each or b) be seen as spam if you are using the exact same text multiple times. I'd use h2 and h3 tags with slightly different text to back up the h1 tag.

thats so true. use it once only or else the purpose of using h1 tag as the main theme of the page will be lost

If you use the H1 tag more than once your site will be banned from Google forever, you will have to pay a $1000 fine and your domain name will be removed from search engine indexes the world over. No not really... It's best just to use it once as Google will ignore subsequent headings, just follow the structure H1, h2, h3, h4, h5. All the best with your site
