what happened if i submit my canada based site in UK directories..?

    I have a Canada based website like xyz.ca then what happened if i submit my site in uk or other countries web directories.

    I don't see any problem to do it, but give prominence to the canadian directories.

    It depends as if you are submitting your web site to uk and other country specific web directories then maybe those directories reject you else general web directories accept you.

    The best way is you can submit canada based web directories. But, no issue from other web directories.

    Nothing would happened, I think that would be a waste of time for how will you generate good outcome if in the first place you put your sites url on irrelevant postings. If you want it to be effective, look for a Canada based directory and submit your rite there.

    Submission is FINE anywhere in world no issues with that but if you want BENEFIT then you have selecte NICHE one.

    Nothing much will happen, if the directory is good and they accept you then you will get an extra backlink.

    Not a big deal. It can still be a potential backlink. But from a user-perspective, it can be misleading.

    I think so like other that nothing will happen. According to me if you are able to get links from web directories (Does not matter directories are of which country) then it would help you either small or big but you can get benefit by those backlinks. Because search engines always prefer links from different IPs and with your anchor texts. So most important thing is suitable category. Because if you will submit your site to any categories then either you links will be rejected or search engine will ignore your links because its not from suitable area and will consider like non thematic links.

    Read the terms of service (assuming they have one) on the directories you are submitting to. Some accept country-specific sites only, some will accept informational sites that are universal in their appeal from other countries and some accept any quality site.
