    hi all,
    4 month ago i have earn about 40-50 $ a day.
    now it's 4 $ a day.
    same traffic.
    20 clicks = 0.2$
    1 cent for click.

    what the f*ck?

I notice that started when google gave option to give 2 bids.
one for search and one for context.

so advertisers give good money for clicks from google search engine and give 1 cent for click from context network.

google must put in adsense features that i can choose my earn for click.

for example if i choose that in my site will show ads for 20 cent so only ads with 20 cent and higher will show, if there is not ads with that bid I don't want ads.

Now sites take traffic from my site and don't pay !!!!!!!!!!!
    that a bad deal.

for that google is dead context network if they will not start to do somthing they will loose context network for others.

    what you think?

As more advertisers move to YPN and other networks prices will decline. If you had 10 advertising competing for the same keywords now 5 of them moved to YPN, you have less competition, prices drop and this is only the beginning.

Yes the change they made with two different bids really hurt a lot of publishers. I've never been able to get visitors to use google search, still trying to successfully implement it.

Publishers should be able to filter ads after what they pay and run real defaults if no advertisers are willing to pay what you want.

    Check this thread:
    http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=146284

I had a similar situation 5 or more months ago: almost immediate drop to 1/3 of what i earned per click (but in average!). I could not explain this. One problm can be obviosuly smart pricing.

But i am just testing my other hypothesis described in that thread: Ads of MFA sites started to appear on my site!

Since not all of my click values are dropped (the average at the end of the day dropped.), i guess this is a very important factor. I am just testing this hypothesis by removing MFA sites but needs time to be sure about the result. Hope it helps...

I dont think smart pricing has anything to do with it really. Sure it can hurt you if your visitors arent converting but that doesnt seem to be the main problem any more. As you said, its now possible for (usually dishonest) advertisers to skirt around the rules and make money from you. Made for adsense sites are popping up every second of the day and they are taking the money out of your pocket, these people are getting prime placement on your website for $0.01. Somethings got to give and im already looking into other advertising alternatives, G staff dont care anymore - as long as they get their cut.
