What happen to namecheap?

Hi friends namecheap.com is not opening. I have to renew one domain there. Are you friends getting the same issue?

 

There were a lot of complaints that they scammed people on BlackFriday.

 

It is working just fine for me......

 

Hmmm...if it like that then will it close forever or what else?

 

But why I am not able to open it...what might be the issue?

 

I just loaded the site no problems. Maybe your IP is blacklisted from them, shoot them an email or try to access via proxy.

Working fine here. They must have banned your whole IP range. Contact them to unblock you

Maybe the server is down, because the effects of black friday yesterday.

 

I don't think they scammed people, just couldn't handle the amount of traffic from CyberMonday deals.

It was down only a part of the day on black friday but only as long as their so called black friday special promotion of $0.99 domains was in effect. Some experts say that it was a gimmick and no one or a very few people actually redeemed $1 domains offer. The website was never down again on black friday and on cyber monday, except a few actual down servers or maintenances.

@blog4fun: if you still cant access namecheap, you are surely blocked.
