It doesn't have to be you. It could just be that the sites around you are putting in more marketing efforts. Also, Google has become a bit of a pain and is getting rid of site which offers duplicate content.
Google loves fresh content and new incoming backlinks. Have you been updating your site at all? Also the Google Panda update may have something to do with your results. My advice to get back up in the SERPS, add some fresh content, and keep getting backlinks. Best of luck, Justin
Nothing to do with marketing efforts! Adnan959 As my home-page can not be found in google search 100-page As for Panda update perhaps is a reason, but this happen to many sites too. Even if they have unique original rich content. And Google says that make some exceptions... exceptions to who the sites that have ad words or what? I don't know even if that is the reason that my site drop, as Google never answer about this things. So any help and ideas will be fine!
in my point of view i think Google change full strategy. 1)Google only index low alexa rank website 2)high quality content. 3)low alexa back links index
well guys what I have analyzed is now Google not only check s for backlinks to rate your website. There are many factors and on your website it is not safe for every user and that might be case why Google filtering your website from main index. Also user engagement, CTR from search engines also plays a role in getting higher rankings.
If a site stays the same for too long with no new content, Google will see that site as an "Idle" site and slowly start to drop it in rankings. Your best bet is to add new features that your site may have never had before. i.e. Pictures, Videos, Blogs, RSS Feeds, Links, Backlinks, etc. Good luck! -PlonkaInteractive
I looked at the sites, the coding is outrageous. Maybe one of Google's spiders that looks for bad coding finally found the site. Not only is it made in tables, it has tons of styling onsite. That probably is the reason for it dropping. Its tough to find out the problem of a site ranking when ultimately the way the content is presented does not look too great.
I have heard that panda shook up a lot of peoples sites, but I hear those people who only have one or two sites and do things manually never got touched. Kind of makes you think that it just sorted out a lot of the black hat stuff? In another ironic twist, one of the article submission sites that I have had constant battles with getting articles approved (dont like excessive use of words, formating, links etc) just recently would not post my article because it didnt like where the link went. Seriously? My article was about dogs, and was 100% unique, and it pointed to the home page of my dog walker site. They said the homepage had too much self promotion. Yet the page just basically outlines my services without a hard sell in site. My biggest joy recently was seeing that whole site drop down in the search results as a result of the google algorithm change. Hey, I know that IM will continue to find short cuts and automate postings, but Google is getting smarter and penalizing spammers leveling the playing field. Of course everyone in here reading this post are likely to be upstanding IM citizens. its just the one percenters that are giving us a bad name.
i get Google Penalty but i do not know that what the reason .I drop from PR from 4 to 5. Anything i can do with it?
This is best advice you can follow, and also; focus on guest posting, blog comments, signature links, and increase your backlinks that way. Fresh content = key to search success.
