iWebTool's PageRank prediction tool is pretty accurate. Don't worry about PageRank though, focus on content and you will be successful - trust me.

If you site is a black hat site, means yu were getting your inbound links in non-solid way, i.e. comments on blogs etc, then most likely you will have your pr dropped to 1 or 2, i dont think they will make it 1 thou.
Dont worry i have a lot of crappy websites that were pr4, then i havent uprdated them for alot of time and so on, and they are not pr4, but pr3 now, i think its pretty good for websites that i dont visit for 1 and half years now :D

Just remember, all those tools are predictions. Just stay focused on building quality backlinks and posting quality content and you'll be fine.

Try not to put too much faith and concern in a prediction tool, even if some of them are ok, you will build yourself up for possible disappointment, you can have a massively successful site without pr.

Some tools are not accurate. You can use it as a referrence but not rely too much on it.

For PageRank prediction, call the Psychic Friends Network at 1-800-797-4477. It will be just as inaccurate as the Online PageRank prediction tools. :)

Last PR update iWebtool had predicted PR 6 for one of my sites. It stayed PR 3. Google has a complex PageRank algorithim that consider over 500 million variables. I suspect most Online PageRank prediction tools consider two variables - the quantity and PageRank of incoming links.

I think prediction tool is not that accurate I already tested it for a year and the result is not the same. Just continue to build more quality link for your site for a Good PR Good luck.

Do not worry about that prediction. 3 predictions were wrong for my site. One was supposed to be PR6 but I actually dropped.

ok I know Predictions are only predictions, these tools can't give accurate results
but in the most cases, the predicted PR is usually give high than the google accurate PR.
However, they only gave me pr1, does it mean that my accurate pr is lower than 1?

I don't know where these pr prediction tools pull their data from. But I suspect they simply pull link data from Yahoo and/or Google. Have you ever logged into Google Webmaster Tools or SiteExplorer and seen your backlinks reduced by half or even more? I have and quite frequently. These reductions in backlinks (for me anyway) appears to be Google or Yahoo rebuilding their databases. If you do a pr check while they are tinkering with their databases, the number of backlinks will be inaccurate which will result in a lower pr prediction.

If I were you, I would focus on building some quality links/traffic to your site. Go back in a week and recheck your predicted pr. Chances are it will be different yet again.

check here the PR prediction tool shows PR4.1
    http://link.ezer.com/?checkPR=www.mariogames1.com

    The tool has important note:
Please Don't count on me. Also do not ask the prediction accuracy any more. If we know the accuracy then it will not be a prediction.

    :)
