    I have three question.

    1. Suppose one of my subdomain deindexed from search engines. Would it affect the main domain?

    2. What happened of main domain deindex from search engines - would all subdomain of that main domain ban from search engines?

    3. Which has the greater value - www.subdomain.domain.com or www.domain.com/subdomain for search engine ranking?

    Thank you.

    1. No, Search Engine index based on pages.

    2. You will have to check by keying site:www.mydomain.com
to see if there's any pages still remains in the Google database.

    3. Depends on the user's query and content relevance of your pages. Your page with 'contact us' will certainly rank higher if users search for your company's contacts.

Depending for what you got indexed. You may get deinxed because:
    1. Your website is very new, and google didn't catch all the backlinks to it. Also if is a very new website, it may not yet appering on all google datacenters
    2. Your site don't have inaf backlinks to it
    3. You are banned for diferents reasons as : spam

Whatever the reason for the deindexing is... you didn't mention the search engine name. Every searh engine got diferences algoritms + diferent policy.

In my country (Bangladesh) almost everyone use google (70%). Roughly yahoo ( 20%), msn (8%) and then others (2%) . Now I am testing an script in a subdomain which have a chance to be ban from search engines because of duplicate content (I use articles from wikipedia and other free sources).

Will my main domain ban from search engines like google or yahoo because of ban from subdomain?
