what happen at google

from last 15 days my google page listed down from 486000 to 117000 and today our traffic is down to nil from last 3 hr. not received single hits , for normal days we receive around 500 to 900 hits daily.

please help me what happened on my site or some other site also receive this type of proublem

That's strange, two of my sites disappeared from the SERPs about three hours ago as well (and they are my two best performing sites )

 

It will contionue for some more time.

 

this is pr update or cleaning the index i.e. remove the dupligate contents form index ?

 

I thank its a rebuild of the index

 

after that can we once again promote to our url at the google ?

 

Google is behaving very weired on some of my sites too.. serps are changing very frequently..at some point traffic is increasting and at other its just nil..

 

It is a mess! Nobody knows what happens with G's algorithm? They add and remove pages all the time without any posting much information about it.

 

some sites are coming back now so hopefully, yours will be back too

 

about 6 hours ago, one of my sites came back in google, as it's been disappeared since it was down for 2 weeks, its holding good possitions in some strong keywords, and for last 6 hours google is pumping the traffic in.
although backlinks reported by google's gone to big fat zero.

HA HA HA ... yeah... the titanic's sinking fast

 

Doesn't mean much, my site is up and down and up and down. Frankly I'm so fed up with google I don't give a %^&$ no more.

 

I am not talking about UPs and DOWNs, what I am talking about is, It came back in SERP with good possition, without a single backlink listed in google.

 

OK, I can say 'in and out' or 'back and forth' or something like that. Result is the same. I had some 97 backlinks listed and am down to 1, from some 800 pages down to about 40, most of my keywords dropped out and it changes faster than I do my underwear. Google is one big unreliable mess.

 

Hope so...50% of my low traffic was from there...
Without G my traffic is going to be ridiculous

 

My site was ranking #5 in Google. Now it's nowhere.
