We all working for Google, by the rules of Google and by the SEO un written Google guide. So there are some things we need to follow, in order to become friendly with Google. I believe in relevancy of the page for the visitors and gaining value for them and i want to believe Google believes in it too. If i have some ( not too many ) relevant links to my page, i have real and informative content, I have good related domains with relevant pictures and videos on it, what can be more relevant for the visitors? for Google ?
We all webmasters do know what Google does actually like. However, the most important is inbound link with editorials. Most of webmasters were gone wrong with link building based on numbers and less focused on quality for each of them. That's why link from high editorial website such as CNN.com, Business.com has a thousands multiply value compared to link from unknown websites. Many websites could offer a great and unique content but rarely of them do offers quality inbound link for themselves.
In my own experiences, page contents would relate to on page optimization issue but there is another big issue as off page optimization. I think off page optimization like back link building would be more important than on page optimization after we have basic optimization for our title tags, meta description tags and page contents. Have a nice day,
You have summed it up really nicely. This is the key to success in any commercial activity. Just aim to provide the best to your clients/visitors and the rest would follow... automatically! Regards, RightMan
I heard more than once from Matt Cutts (of Google) saying "quality content". So I would just summarize what he often says in his blog posts and videos: 1. Quality and updated content 2. Good internal linking structure 3. User friendly and easy to navigate website Follow this and your site will already be liked by Google. Good luck,
give good quality original content, and you will be liked by google. Build backlinks naturally too. help your visitors also will help you too
Simply make a site that your visitors like - all Google does is try to help them find what they want. Everything else is pretty irrelevant.
put the focus on high standards, avoid doing things that you think could be a little dodgey a lot of the time it's just common sense with on site stuff. Unique, helpful, high quality content is a good starting point.
What Google likes is webmasters or bloggers who follow their Google webmaster guidelines and those who don't practice black hat SEO.
Backlinks, Internal links and QUALITY UNIQUE CONTENT 1. Quality and updated content. 2. Good internal linking structure. 3. User friendly and easy to navigate website.
