wokaka, semantics aside, google does have spam filters. of all the crawler based engines since 1999 (when I started studying the subject in depth), they have been the best at detecting 'spam'. it is nowhere near perfect, and there is a ton of spam in google. but to polarize so strongly with 'google knows nothing about spam' may be too strong of a statement. but i whole heartedly agree that a bunch of spam gets thru undetected and it often appears like they cant detect it. unless you work for google, neither one of us really know, as we can not view the filters to see if any are aimed at spam or not. much of what we all say about seo reflects personal opinion, and i recognize that, and hopefully people here have enough insight to recognize the same, at the very least. be well.
