What google changed in penguin update?????????

    Hey guys,
    I really need help.After the penguin update my website is loosing its ranking.I need to gain my serp.So what google changed in their this updated????? How can i gain my google ranking?????????Now how google ranking websites??????????If you know about this update plz help me??????????????

    was your site over optimised with too many links? you can read lots of info on Google Penguin updates, it will be easier for you to read detailed articles.

    I am also facing same problem. I still didn't get the penguin update. I don;t know what is causing my site to go down. Panda updates had no effect on my site.

    Google Penguin is similar like Google Panda but with more eye on Original Content and remove more spams from search engine so you have to be more careful with Penguin as its more advanced than Panda.

    The Penguin update is not a penalty. It's also not a real time update. Penguin is iterative (just like Panda), so whatever changes you make now might not show any results until they "run" the filter again.

    Something you can compare with the Panda update. Its some update to improve the search quality and avoid link spamming and stuff like that.

    I did some really quick reading on this forum, and it seems like the Google Penguin update affected a lot of webmasters who relied on blackhat techniques or low quality backlink building. They want to focus more on quality content versus just the amount of link juice that you have.

    It is just like the Panda update but a little change is there that from now it is important to use quality content which should be unique.Because google has updated their algorithm according to natural links and quality content.

    Google Penguin is targeting those site which is highly optimized or having tons of spammy backlinks.
    You have to consider following points.

    1- Check your backlinks and remove those backlinks which from banned or porn sites.
    2- use different Anchor Text while creating backlinks.
    3- Follow Google guidelines for google friendly sites.
    4- Avoid hidden backlinks
    5- Don't involve in any linkbuilding scheme.
    6- Avoid paid backlink scheme.

    I suggest that you follow Jonathan Leger blog, he is doing a good job collecting data and investigating about the penguin update ..
