What google alow multiple XML sites maps.

    Hi friends.
    I have created XML site map for my site but its have too much queries I think roundabout 60000/ I think i need to create it into parts. So, i want to create multiple sites maps.
    My question is what Google allow multiple XML sites map in webmaster

    Yes Google allows multiple sitemap files. You should create a sitemap index.

    yes you can create mulitple sitemap files. GWT allows Multiple sitemap index file.

    Google & Yahoo both allow multiple sitemaps. Whether Bing does is unclear but there's no harm in submitting 2 to them.

    You can read about automatic XML sitemaps splitting. That way program takes care of splitting the XML sitemap for you. No need to do it yourself :)

    the max number of URL's allowed in a sitemap is 50,000, so if your site has more than that it will be necessary to split them

    XML Sitemaps is comprehensive n frequently updated with site update and no problem with Multiple sitemaps and easy to maintain URLs!!
