What are the best websites for google adsense...as in, what genre of website will get the highest $ per click? How do you think a website that is based on "website tutorials, how to make $ online, and how to get lots of site traffic" do based on google adsense? I would use Yahoo, but I'm Canadian unfortunately, although my websites are generally targeted for Americans.
There not high paying, health related treatments, forms of plastic surgery, rehabs, injury lawyers and financial stuff like debt, insurances, loans etc are the highest paying. You need to research each to find smaller niches within.
No, you have to think whats worth more to the advertiser, if your talking about a loan where the company will make thousands etc then the advertiser will bid more for the keyword. A tutorial type site may have advertisers for different $100 editing softwares or something like that so the advertiser is obviously bidding less. Use this to get an idea what different terms are worth in adsense, the amount it shows will usually be around %70 less though as advertisers dont pay as much for the content network (adsense)
Cipriani, If guitar is your thing you should probably give it a go. Even if clicks don't pay so much (sorry, no idea), it will be much easier to have a high ranking site - hence more visitors - than something like a webmaster site where there is a lot of competition. Plus if it's your interest your writing will be natural, and more interesting to your site visitors. I'd keep away from webmaster / legal / pharmaceutical sites etc unless you really know what you are doing and know how to rank well in very competitive fields. Practice with guitars, then try something more challenging later perhaps. Sites out of the firing line of webmasters (ie not from high paying keywords lists, and not webmaster sites) are a good place to start.
There are hundreds, if not thousands of profitable niches. I personally use some free tools (see my sig) and have a subscription to Tested AdSense Niches. My personal experience is that "how to make money online" aka "internet marketing" is not very profitable. However, there are "get rich" niches that performed rather well for me. Among those are business opportunities and franchising (I won't go into details, but that should be enough for any smart person to start digging). You see, when you cater to "internet marketing" advertisers, they basically make money by selling ebooks and tutorials for 20-50 bucks. But, if you go into bizopps, bizopps cost several hundred to several thousand dollars. And franchising is even more expensive. So, basically, you want to pick a "get rich" niche, where the profit from a single sale is so high, the advertisers can afford to bid high.
Hmm, thanks for letting me know guys. One more quick question. You say health right...so, if you did a website say on "fitness/weight-training"..would u be displaying a lot of health related ads that generally have a higher payment per click?
I believe the best website is that which webmaster is more concerned in provide useful information and services to its visitors, instead of having a webmaster only concerned in increasing his/her click-thrrough performance.
You are still thinking way too general. "Fitness" won't pay much. "Hoodia" will (if you don't know what hoodia is, don't worry, it's a weightloss natural suppliment, very very hot right now in US and Europe). Same with weight-training - probably won't get much for it. But some protein complex that costs 50-100 bucks may pay you 30-80 cents per click. When you are thinking niche, target on specifics. Dogs and pets is a rotten niche that pays less than 10 cents. But "flea collar" and "dog byte lawyer" pay well. Generally speaking, try to find an expensive item or service. Some of these high paying keywords are really obscure. Like a name of company that makes yachts. Don't think general, think specifics.
Hmm, what about a Fitness related site based on "Bodybuilding" and "Muscle/Supplements"? Now that's getting more specific...
