What framework or technology is this? scrolling images in the back. 1 page site?

    Hey. I have been seeing a few sites like this. http://www.jobvite.com/ . The background images scroll(and change?) in the background through "Windows" of sorts..These images are sometimes animated. Lets say a timelapse of clouds moving.... Are these animated repeated gifs? or [dare I say it] Flash?.

    I have seen this type of designs popping up and they are looking NICEEEEEEEE. Are these new features in HTML5? Or is it some extensive Javascript(I suspect)?

    This is Latest trend called Parallax scrolling. And its done via HTML5/jQuery
