Hi all, i was wondering, What fonts does Google use on their search results page?

Specifically I am looking for the name (arial, times, etc) and size (12, 14, etc) of the...

    1. Link title
    2. Link Url
    3. Description?

I have numbered each of the 3 elements in this image: http://i48.tinypic.com/jfk97c.jpg

    Thank you.

It uses Arial for all 3 locations... 16px for the title and 13px for the others.

Just a tip: If you wanna know which font or other things about a website's stylesheet etc. Then you can use the page inspector, to view those things.

Yep. For instance, in Chrome just right-click on whatever element (text, in this case) whose styling you want to know more about and when the menu pops-up, click Inspect element:

simply use Font · Identify any web font you see. http://fount.artequalswork.com/ - drag the button onto your toolbar and click the link on the toolbar, press on the text on any web page to see the font/weight etc. (instructions are on the site, easy to do).

Mostly the font of search engines are depend upon the default used font in your computer. Google isn't loath to utilizing a more pleasant typeface, however to work all around reliably it's ideal to simply utilize Arial.

Arial is a very simple, widely supported font with excellent readability. It's not fancy & it's not beautiful but it's functional & it work very well.

Google is not really favorable to using nicer fonts for presentation purposes per say but is more so for using what is workable for everywhere on a consistent basis which is said that Arial is the best font to use for that! #REIGNFOREVER
