Hi all, I just wanted to find out what font you use for web design or in general. I recently started trying out Georgia and I really like it more than Arial or Times New Roman. What do you think?

    Agreed!,
Arial & Verdana display the cleanest, and are compatible all around.

I also like them because you can literally make a tiny sized font and it still reads clear.

Be sure to use Stylesheets to make your life easy ;)

Comic Sans is probably the most unprofesional font there ever was though. It has been so overused that it just screams "I just threw this site up".

The only sites that can get away with using it are hobby sites.

You should use em's or %, not pt or px (It's really REALLY important - accessibility).

I agree, add Verdana to the List!!!
Also, post and say for anyone choosing "OTHER", they should post the font they use so we can get an idea!

I always try to follow the safe line and use the fonts that are guaranteed to work. Some will say that not all will display for everyone. So I stick with Arial and Verdana, etc.

I would like to master using and working with font sizes using css. I know how to set up css a little, but am completely unfamiliar with %, em's, pt, and px. I use FP 2003 mostly and they offer 1(8), 2(10), 3(12) for example.

My site is not 100% consistant since I set up css, does anyone have a link that helped them work with css effectively?
Also I no the em's has something to do with the distance of an "m".

I use arial the most, but I use verdana too.
I'm also a sucker for helvetica.
