What first Made you want to be a web developer?

    I graduated with a degree in computer science back in 2006. Shortly thereafter my college buddy got me a temporary job at a local web development company.

    prior to that I had no experience in html/php/mysql or anything. After a couple months of learning websites I kind of got hooked. And once I saw the first click from adsense I knew this was something I really wanted to pursue :)

    so what's your story?

    I was just fascinated about website and learning to create it since 1998 while all my friends chatting with girls on IRC.

    I was just lying at home after I resigned from my job due to an exam... I was at home for a few months and then I got interested in web designing just as an amateur.. did not make any significant money then but gradually I developed and learnt the tricks of the trade and now I have become successful by some standards.. now I am employed again and I am also earning from web designing.. perhaps leaving my job at that time was a blessing in disguise :)

    I want to quit my job, so that is why I started to lean HTML, PHP and MYSQL.

    Have built few websites and now I am doing some SEO. I hope I will soon be able to quit my job :)

    I wanted to make a fan site for a video game so I taught myself html over a weekend the website grew from there. It wasn't until 2 years after that website launched that I discovered AdSense. By then I already had a successful blog. I plan to launch other sites based on other topics I'm interested in.
