Hi guys, I am very new into selling a blog. I am thinking of selling a blog, could someone point me to the right direction? My blog is hosted on wordpress installed with Fantastico deluxe on my hosting...so the question I have is what files I need to give/send to the buyer and how can I get this file myself? I know that I can download the content/blogposts via WP dashboard but what about the images and other stuff? Hope somebody can help. Thanks in advance.

You need to send the blog folder which content the themes and plugins that you are using. You can get these files by downloading using FTP programs like Filezilla. You also need to send the database file, and that is where your blogpost contents are reside. For the database file, you can use the export function via PHPMyAdmin. - Dynashox -
if that blog is the only site with your hosting then u can give hosting access to buyer and tell him to transfer. if he want to give files then u can do in 2 ways 1) zip the file of that blog , take backup of db and give them to buyer 2) take backup in wp admin ( xml file ) and give him but it may not tranfer images and images needs to be copied separately

Three things are needed once you sell a Blog/Website 1) Transfer the DNS (nameserver) to new owner 2) Include all HTML files, since you're using wordpress this includes any /wp-content/plugins you're using and /wp-content/themes/ your current theme 3) A CSV or SQL version of your wordpress database, easy to get using phpmyadmin or with a wordpress database backup plugin
