what features you will have in video search engine , if you create one?

    We are in process of creating a video search engine and just want to check what features you as a webmaster will have to attract more visitors to your website.

    I reaching out to the webmasters directly, since know how the users behave and their needs.

    • Face recognition, Connect people in the video to their Social Media profiles.
    • Speech to text for caption(and ability to search keywords and phrases in that caption).
    • Image search(Search for a video by dropping in a screenshot).
    • Search By GEO Location.
    • Video Convertion options
    • Extract audio
    But of course, I have nowhere near the programming experience or ability to create anything like that...

    I would make sure that the word "rajalakshmip" never appeared in it.

    AND.... I'd make sure your search engine never existed.

    Not showing my competitors videos after you've shown mine :)

    @Helge Sverre came up with some good ones... search for content within a video is the key thing - to be able to give a quote from the text and find the video where it was said would be awesome... but the video owner isn't going to want to provide the transcript, your engine will need to be able to generate it.

    If available you should name it YouTube and grow it into an online community with billions of videos!
