Hello! I own a couple of sites, all sites offers different games which you can win money from. How I usually do is I get sponsored by companies (small ones often), that gives me 1 item, and then I give that item to one of the people playing my games everyday. I was thinking that I instead of getting sponsors on items my members doesn't like, I could put ads on my site and the people will earn about 50% of that income. On all of my sites, I gain around 50k unique daily visitors. On my sponsorlinks (for example Samsung), I get a clickthrough rate of about 7%. If I'd be going to AdSense, what could I get? What factors does effect the income? Do you get paid for both clicks and impressions or only one of those? What do you get paid for a click?
Well the quality and volume of traffic depends how much a website earns from google adsense. it is better to produce high quality content that attracts traffic that do not know much about google adsense so they will click on the ads more then the one's who know about google adsense ads
From my experience, it is the traffic (especially, the quality), CTR and niche that determines the adsense earnings. It is bound to fluctuate within the reasonable limit on a weekly basis.
