I am looking to hire an outsourcer to work 8 hours a day to promote a new site, its got no pr and it is going after a fairly competitive market. I will serve the market with good, custom written content, and links to valuable resources for the visitors. I have been reading the forums, and I see there are a lot of REALLY smart people, who have lots to add, but I am unclear on the "step by step, do an hour of this and 2 hours of that" to site promotion. Thoughts?
Write new content each day if you can. Make a blog and add post about site and ping rss feeds. Any time left find directories and add url. Add links to signature in forums. Find places to add sites url and add site to social bookmark sites. Make sure to find new places to add link each day.
I am fairly new to seo, been reading for a while. Can you explain this comment a little further? Blogging is one part of SEO I have not read about yet other than commenting on other peoples blogs.
