According to many webmasters and me also Page rank is not important than organic traffics so always try to promote your website to get some organic traffics.

Google give PR according to quality backlinks means if your website have quality backlinks with good contents then you can get good PR.

PR is a complex thing to explain in one go . Simply put - Google gives every webpage on the internet a rank which lies between 0-10, 10 being the highest, and there are a lot of ranking factors used to decide the rank of a page .
A few of them are
1)PR of incoming link
2)Number of incoming link
3)Age of domain

Page Rank or PR can be viewed as a numerical value of 0-10 in a Google toolbar. Here the 0 is weakest and 10 is a highest.

Here PR divide in four categories:

0-3 : New sites or sites with very minimal links
4-5 : most popular sites with many inbound links
6 : Very popular sites that have up to hundreds of links with quality links
7-10 : media brands
