What exactly ebay is?

I dont know if this is the right section to post this question, but I want to know few things about ebay!

- ebay is used for selling 2nd hand things or brand new?

- if they are brand new, who sells them?

- how can you be sure that after paying you will get it?

- is it safe to buy mini laptop online?

Both new and used items are sold by individuals or companies.
You are never 100% you will get your item.

 

is it very safe to buy on ebay coz u use paypal to pay for it

 

Ebay sells anything and everything. From brand new tvs to half eaten sandwiches.
Check a sellers feedback to make sure they are genuine.

 

If you don't get your item, you can request eBay for money back. From my experience, I have received 100% of the items I've purchased via eBay. Look at their feedback.

Don't be too sure about that, while i have bought about 30 items the one time i didn't receive i lost my dispute

in US dollars thats about $10 spent on NOTHING

 

To sum it up : Ebay is a leading online marketplace.

 

Except for digital products DP is probably a better market place

 

You can buy new and used items on ebay, just be sure to buy from a reputable seller this doesnt mean buying from someone just because they have over 500000 feedbacks because sometimes a seller with that type of score has a lot of negatives that you will never get to see the details of the transaction so make surre you go through their feedack profile with a fine toothed comb. If for some reason a seller fails to fall through on his promise contact paypal immediately and let them know what happened. Oh and always make sure the seller accepts paypal, paypal recently started a new rule that says something to the effect that if you are seller with less than 100 feedbacks and you are selling a high ticket item then your funds will be put on hold until the buyer leaves a positive feedback or until 3 days after item is delivered.

You can use Ebay, or you can use craigslist if you want to meet the person face-to-face.

ebay is a place where you can make money with 0 investing if you have something for sale.

 

I would rather say e-bay as fraud's market where you will find 90% fraud sellers and 8% genuine with 2% dumb sellers.

It is a huge market so scams are obvious.

Recently there was a case on e-bay which says that they were selling parts or something else related to body of some past Emperor. I think i have read it yesterday only.

 

ya i agree, most of them are dropshippers = means sell others product and earn a part of sale for them...

 

everything legal can be sold

but beware, lots of scammers out there will prey on newbies

 

I would be more careful with Laptop / Desktops as "Brand new, never used" often means refurbished and polished up to look nice and shiny.

I always buy from somebody with lots of feedback, and feedback about the same kind of products

 

It is a question now .... we are not safe to buy through ebay ....????
