What Exactly Causes Your Website to Be Banned from Google

I recently had a website that was given a high ranking the first day it was indexed but disappeared off Google the next day. People told me I must have been banned and I needed to rewrite my keywords because I used more then
5 of the same word on a page like the word "Discount". So will Google automatically ban you if you use the same keywords more then 5 times or are there other factors as well?

Keyword stuffing, the possible reason for getting banned in Google.
You need to care for the content of the page.
try to set keyword density about 4 % to 6 % for the particular keyword on each page.

Keyword stuffing is also dangerous, Google may not like it

What is a general rule for determining keyboard stuffing. Is it if you use the same keyword more then 5 times on say a home page or 3 times in a sentence? Are both the single word, i.e. cat, i.e. cats, considered different keywords? Thanks

"high ranking the first day it was indexed but disappeared off Google the next day"

Thats normal for some sites.. Your site was fresh so Goog gave it a bump in the serps, then you sunk out of it. Unless you cant find it with the site command, your just in something of a sandbox, your going to have to prove to Google that your site has value by building good links for a while.

Just copy and paste your URL into Google, if you don't find your site, then you are banned.

Well actually repeting this keyword 5 times is like nothing for an average long text of 400 words. It really depends on the size of the text. Keep it arround 5-8%. Try to make the text look natural, make it for your visitors, make them have no problems while reading, and you will end up with good results.

In addition, you might want to submit some of the "perfect content" that search engines believe you must have within yours, it's called ContentDNA and the whole process is called Latent Semantic Optimization or LSO. It's pure matemathics to find the ContentDNA and include some of it within your content, roughly 20-30%.

Example for ContentDNA for sport cars will be: Ferrari, Porsche, Exhausts, Germany, Audio System, Bodykit, Speed etc. Its not just synonims or good keywords, its ContetnDNA and there are also alot of term-to-term relations between them. For example Sports Car -> [Ferrari <-> Germany]
