I am just wondering how many registrar companies resell Enom's domains. Does anyone know who they are?
biggest was NameCheap, but they got their own registrar now but still probably largest reseller as not all domains are moved over.
If for example I buy the domain at Enom reseller's web site, what registrar company will be displayed in Whois?
It will show up as enom. Back then, when you registered off of namecheap, it still showed up as enom lol.
It has been so long since I have been on my Enom account that I have forgotten the terminology. I can register domains for clients via enom. So I think am one? How does a reseller become inactive? Q...
in whois there i still a Registration Provided By line I believe. So it shows reseller there despite whois at eNom.
This is true. It shows the sposoring registrar as Enom, but it also shows the resellers name (business name) and e-mail address. .
I dont think there are any the size of namecheap afaik. i know a lot of people with ETP (main reseller) accounts. i have a few reseller accounts with them. what i the purpose of asking? what are you trying to get out of this knowledge? If you could answer that maybe more valuable information could be given or looked up.
Namecheap was one of the biggest. Another one serious eNom Reseller with discount pricing (9.85$) is Fedholm Internet Services. The nice thing with Fedholm is that once you create a free Fedholm account you can can login and manage your domains directly from www.enom.com! or just use their own control panel. Their database is completely integrated with enom database adding extra security and functionality As far i know there are about 50000 enom reseller but not all of them are active or offering a discount pricing.
