What else can my hosting company offer?

I have just finished setting up my all-new web hosting company. Before I start looking for customers, I'm looking to expand the services I offer. Besides from a Hosting Reseller, what other resellers can I get? For example, can I get a VPN or VPS reseller? Backup hosting reseller? Offshore Reseller? And can I resell Windows remote desktop accounts?

So, are any of these possible, and can I get them for under $20 USD per month? Many thanks.

Yep. I can offer you Offshore reseller accs for dirt cheap compared to other places. (Netherlands-based and France-based; both on cPanel!)

I'm PMing them to you. France is not USA, so it is offshore. Offshore - kinda "out of your country".

Typical. Americans, think their country is the only place worth living so they classify every other country as 'offshore' :p
    I pmed you back.

About these domain resellers, I am not EU based, so what do I have to pay.. link?

No problem. That's what DP's for (apart of making global business possible ;)): to join cultures.

Back to topic, you can indeed resell VPS from a trusted company adding your own profit margin. Though in cases like the Virpus VPS', they have their own IP network so this will reveal you are actually reselling them.

I think iWebFusion.net's VPS are not that branded, so you can still try to contact iwf-jacob regarding this, so he can make some special deals with you, as he's usually around.

    Best of luck!

I think a backup reseller is a nice, empty market to get into. ;) WHMCS apparantly offer a free eNom or Resellers Club domain reseller, I dont know how you are suppose to get hold of them though.

There really isn't much of a VPS reseller, because thats just a server with VPS' on it. Check out a2b2.com - They're offering ready made VPS nodes. Not to cheap though, better to set them up yourself.

What I don't see advertised around are reseller programs which aren't exactly resellers, but just a way to get all or some of your own sites hosted simply under one roof, so no real reselling is involved.

This type of accounts should be cheaper than profit making resellers' accounts.

But individual domains can not be suspended, just the whole account. So if one of your sites has a problem, all of them have it.

This is one of the reasons people prefer to keep different domains on different cPanels if possible.

Yeah, every domain/site in a separate account.
Anyway my sites don't intentionally create any problems at all. As a matter of fact, in years I had no complaints from hosts.

You can offer shoutcast hosting, seo hosting (expensive), email hosting (not sure if anyone would take it). I'll update you if I have some other Ideas in mind.

IMHO backup hosting is the best idea...its still rare!
