what effort should I made to get 2000 daily visitors?

I know content is the King. I always put unique content on my site but what other strategy should I make to get atleast 2000 daily visitor.
Please answer in details so I can understand better.

Find out what the competition is for keywords people would use to reach your site, once you can rank highly then people will find you via search engines.

To get a huge number of traffic (as you told apprx. 2000/day) - keep concentrating in your Content (As you are already doing) - after that you should concentrate in your SEO strategies and the Keyword analysis. You need to analyze your targeted Keywords first so that you can optimize them properly to get a higher search engine ranking. As you will get higher search engine ranking - the more traffic you will get for your site. After this, you can do a proper SEO along with heavy SMO work. Publish or share your website link in Google+, Facebook, StumbleUpon, Pinterest, Linkedin etc - these sites will help you to get a huge number of traffic. In the recent times there is another way of getting traffic and that is : "Guest Blogging" - research on this thing and keep posting in some highly traffic getting blogs - in this way some sort of traffic can be diverted to your website. Or else you can do another thing: Do Social Bookmarking for your Website.
