i myself use Adobe dreamweaver cs3 i'm just wondering if they is any better editors, so i can try and get my hands on them xD
How many times will this question be asked? For me, when on my windows machine i use Notepad++ and when on my Ubuntu box I use Kate. I highly recommend that you learn HTML + CSS + JavaScript. It really isn't that hard.
Not to fret, just search through the HTML & Website Design section you will find plenty, http://forums.digitalpoint.com/showthread.php?t=724449 Welcome to the forums.
I use a mac and tend to stick to text editors. Taco HTML Edit is my favourite so far cos it does any extra options I need (over just a Notepad) like setting up a default new document and tabbing, but without irritating features that get in the way or a long load time.
Any of the many text editors are going to be the best from a technical point of view. Notepad++ is often quoted though we use Visual Studio (Visual Web Developer Express is the free version) as we program in .Net and VS has C#/ VB.Net code in the intelisense in addition to the normal HTML/ CSS etc
