I use Woocommerce, it gives me the ability to customize my site a lot more than Shopify. I also use Visual Bakery to create better looking pages
There are many platforms to choose from. Among those, Woocommerce works best for a couple of reasons: 1. It is simple and customizable. So if you won't have to spend a lot of time on learning how to use it 2. Works well with CRO tools 3. SEO-friendly It is really easy to use and install tracking codes if you want to have tools like a live chat. By the way, if you also want some tips on optimizing your shop's user experience (also working well with Woocommerce), I know of a tool and I also recently used it - Backtocart https://app.backtocart.co/login that works perfectly with it. They provide a cool live chat support which enables you to manage the chat history and get the utmost of the conversation with your visitors.
I suggest to use the Magento platform for your ecommerce because its easy to use and is also SEO friendly which helps the website to get listed in google ranking easily. And Magento is totally ecommerce dedicated CMS.
Well, I'm not an SEO expert, but I like WooCommerce, it's very flexible and it's very compatible with my website. For example, if you sell products related with your niche, maybe it is the best option.
It would definitely be WooCommerce. Why? WooCommerce is built on WordPress, the software that runs 26% of the web It is an open-source and free plugin. From physical products and digital downloads to subscriptions, content and even appointments, you can sell anything with WooCommerce It is entirely open source, which means you can modify and customize anything and everything You have the liberty to host your WooCommerce store on any hosting provider you want. WooCommerce code is audited and secure. Your store is reliant on your hosting solution to be 'bank vault' secure.
Does woocommerce have a mobile UI though? I am looking to start an online ecomm business and was reading that shopify you are able to manage everything from your phone or similar mobile device. Do people use this type of functionality often? Is there anything similar for woo?
I am a Magento adept because of its customization features. You can do anything to it - and it would work seamlessly.
As a beginning online retailer, you face a hard choice - choice of an ecommerce platform. I strongly recommend launching your online store with Magento, for it stands out with a number of useful advantages for both store owners and customers. Magento is an open source platform Magento has a number of built-in features that are highly configurable Magento can be scaled up or down, which makes it universal for large, middle and small online stores Magento has a strong and supportive global community of development professionals
My recommendation is to use Shopify but if you want to grow like a real entrepreneur you should start selling on Amazon.
Currently have website Wordpress/ woocommerce but I have working experience on all platform in the list.
I prefer Magento. Magento is easy to customise as per requirement and less coding required. very useful ecommerce development solution.
Shopify. It is fairly easy to use and set up, no coding required and the learning curve is shorter so you can start selling asap.. More apps to help you scale up like Importify and Editorify. Also, it's easier to set up, I used this free guide to build my store- from adding products, up to marketing them. https://www.importify.com/starting-dropshipping/
E-commerce is currently rocking the world. The traditional shopping process is faded soon it gonna be vanished. Ecommerce mobile app is the best medium in an ecommerce business.
I recently updated aside I did many years ago from OS Commerce to woocommerce and they are doing a lot better now. I'm glad that I did it. From what I've read about Shopify I don't really feel good about it, and I think they sort of monetize you rather than you being able to get more money out of your own operation. Beyond that I also have a good relationship with a couple of different merchant service providers and I get a much better deal than Shopify would offer.
