    Hi Safia,

My recommendation is definitely PrestaShop. Why?
    • SEO - Very let's say "google engine friendly"
    • Borderless - supports many languages and currencies
    • Usability - It's one of the easiest to customize in compare with other ecommerce platforms - this by the way is the main reason why it's so popular
    • Payments - Presta comes with payment providers/ solutions like G2A pay
    • Themes - provides a huge number of templates and themes which believe me make a huge difference
    • Mobile-friendly

I prefer to use Woocommerce (WordPress Ecommerce). Its SEO friendly and working very well.

Advice - If you want to secure your store, please use only Paid / Premium Theme and Plugins. Never use Free plugins.

Speaking from personal experience as I was part of a project that ran WooCommerce for a medium sized application. I would use WooCommerce. The mere functionality and ease of use should be the only selling point you need, but there's many others.

The short answer to that is:
WooCommerce is based around WordPress, which makes it easy for beginners to get started and gives veterans the options they need to scale their business into the future.

I prefer to use Woocommerce. I build online stores for people but with all the talk about shopify that's what they want but I prefer to get them to use woocommerce due to the fees and other issues with shopify that I don't like using them.

I use shopify for its ease of use and great app store. Shopify IMO is the best out of the box solution where you can literally have a store up and running within a few hours.

I am using WooCommerce with WooDropship for my store. It's hassle free, easy and automates my store leaving more time for other things like brand recognition and product promotion

    I agree with Li.ikonow.
I use Prestashop for 5 years and its 100% free, a very fast platform (if you know how to optimise it).
The only additional recommended cost is for a profesional theme and a one-page checkout module.
It's much better for someone to get an e-commerce platform like Prestashop, Magento or Shopify for products with multiple attributes & characteristic (ie fashion products) instead of WooCommerce. These platforms can get many excellent with a professional look themes/templates with multiple features.
WordPress is a powerful platform with many free plugins and support but some jobs, specific e-commerce platforms are the best.

I use WooCommerce and like the ease of use, flexibility and wide array of features and functionalities it offers. It's also free and you'd only need to buy web hosting and a domain name to get started. Besides, you can always find lots of beautiful WordPress themes and plugins to work with.

Here is a list of WooCommerce themes I recently compiled >> https://wpreviewspro.com/best-woocommerce-themes/

I prefer to use Shopify. At first, it is one of the most popular among the open eCommerce Systems in the world (link to the article on research https://medium.com/ecommerce-platforms-research-2018-which-is-the/ecommerce-platforms-research-2018-which-is-the-best-1d63cc873d48). At second, it has some powerful advantages for startups. Besides, Shopify maintains your site’s servers, maintains the software and handles the payment gateway. It is conveniently.

I have used Zen-Cart and prestrashop. I can't recomend Zen-Cart. When I start my next E-Commerce website I will be using Prestashop for sure. I like the vast amount of plugins and templates available.
