Im not well versed in tax law and know that after 600 a company is required in the U.S to report tax earnings. My question is, do any of these companies such as Google or Yahoo report earnings below 600 to IRS and if so is there anyway to know that? Do they have to send a 1099 to you if they did report it below 600?
Here is the answer: AdSense Help Center: Tax reporting Essentially, they report if you make over $600.
Thanks. I was wondering though, that for other sites, if they report under 600 and also if you don't get a 1099 at the end of the year can you assume that they didn't report you to IRS?
