i have recieved a message lately that i have to update my plugins and so i activated it. What dyou do before upgrading the plugins you have?
If it ain't broke don't fix it. And before you make changes to your site ... you should backup. But who does that really? I have a whole lot of Wordpress sites. And once I get them working and a plug in is working I leave it alone. So what if there is a newer version. Is the newer version going to make your blog better or not? It could just cause you a bunch of headaches. Share This recently upgraded and now to use their plug in you have to go and register on their site. So you upgrade and you end up wasting a whole lot of time.
yeah i wasted my time and ruined the whole database. i;m not sure what i just did with the htaccess and accidentally deleted some files. i hated the plugin update message till then. now i have to start over again lol..
I just go ahead and upgrade the plugins, but if the plugins is cforms or something i think that may possibly go wrong (in any way lol) then i would back up. Kind Regards ~mrhrk01
