What domains will you register if you are free to do so ? i.e. .asia top domain is coming. I will register the following domains: webmaster.asia seo.asia firefox.asia how about you ?
Is this extension supposed to be used by Asians? From what I hear, they are happy with .cn, .jp, .kr, .com, etc. Do they even know about this extension in Japan, China, Korea, etc? I suppose one could develop dot Asia domains, but the sites would have to be in the language of the end-user. Just like dot LA is probably not even recognized by residents of Los Angeles, dot Asia would have to be 'sold' to Asians by developed sites. That is partially the job of the registrar. Does anyone know the proposed target audience and marketing plan for this extension? Last thought is that the sites would probably need to be in Pinyin, Romaji or something that made sense to the target audience. English language domain names might not make as much sense with this extension.
Lol, I preordered seo.asia about a month ago. You have to have a business registered in asia to actually get the domain early though.
I assume that the top keywords are probably reserved? (The term 'premium' is so overused!) What does the registrar consider 'Asia'?
