well.. any of those means something in any language ?

kosivo.com sounds good to me, because sounds like KOSOVO :D

but gumeo.com and zabta.com sounds more commercial.

AH NO!!! I decided to get gumeo.com, but by the time I got there someone had just taken it... so I went for zabta... SAME THING HAPPENED!

Then I went for another one i'd had my eye on, techgauge.com, and it happened AGAIN!

It's not my day is it!

And it's gonna be a portal, with no specific niche...

I'm planning to attempt to make a msn type website, but for a more local community, then maybe try to expand it gradually to more communities... THEN TAKE OVER THE NET!!! MOHAHAHAHAHAHA (yeah, I know it's not likely, but we all need a dream, lol).

Anhalo, a tough lesson learnt here friend. Whenever you have a good name idea, just buy it, gumeo.com would have been ace. It doesn't matter if you don't have an idea for the site, just catchy names like that usually become very popular. So next time maybe ask people you trust in an IM and don't post them to a board mate.

Best of luck in the future.

    LMAO!

I always write them down in an office doco and then buy them when I have a spare bit of cash, also another way to find names is just type it into the url bar, then companies don't take them, like GoDaddy. My fiirst experience was searching my own name and then I went back the next day to buy it and GoDaddy had it, man was I pissed.

Find a company that doesn't reserve them, though I prefer to type them into url, if they're not taken write them in word doco or just go and buy them asap. This way no one can sell the database of searched domains and the millionaire webmasters can't scroll down the list to find the next, GUMEO.COM.

Also remember that gumeo might be a companies initials and if not now it will be in the future, therefore a domain name like this will only get bigger/more popular.

    hi!
well you wanted gumeo.com but somebody else took it coz probably while asking people for opinions on domain names someone might have took it. Make sure that you just get the names you find interesting and unique even if u dont have any idea about it.
