Hello there, As I have on google, we select domain extension according to country from where we want to achieve business like business from AUS, ues .aus extension in domain, business from UK, choose co.uk etc. Is there any seo benefit choosing domain extension country wise ? Any difference if we go for .com extension in spite of country wise?
I'd go with just plain .com simply because that's what we're used to here. I hardly ever see anyone using .us
No doubt .com is the best - there is even evidence the extension has additional SEO benefit over other extensions.
.com is perfect, it is used globally and it is good for US as well, better than .us. And it has good SEO value too..
Listen to what everyone is saying... Go with .com .. .info, .net, .org can also work. But for .us, .co, and whatever else DON'T use those domains as main domains but you can use if for promoting and what not. I hope that makes sense to you, For example: Overstock.com also has o.co, They promoted that domain in commercials and things like that because it looks cool, short, and different.
lilc800 summed it up pretty nicely; strictly use main TLD's only, but support with vanity domains in other marketing material.
I Prefer .Com always, pretty easy to remember you should try to create a brand name that sticks on the Tongue.
