What Does Yahoo Like Or Dislike?

I have been trying to figure out what Yahoo seems to like when optimizing a site. It seems thay have made some changes recently. Anyone have any insite? I noticed that sites that show well have short title tags with only one targeted keyphrase. They also seem to have high keyword density, usually over 10%. Any other observations?

I think yahoo likes on-page, title, keyword domains, and backlinks. Keyword density is also big.

One thing that I experienced is I got penalized after getting a few monster sitewides (pr8/pr7). It looks like sitewides are not playing as much a role as they used to.

I believe the cross linking. But I have heard that sitewide links can help you.

I think you get hurt when you do sitewide links back and forth between two or more sites.

I agree Yahoo along with MSN like sitewides it seems. I've found for me that Yahoo seems to be moving towards more importance on backlinks then before.

I find you just have to go a little harder with the on page then google the trick is to push it enough for Yahoo & MSN without screwing up your Google.

I've found that long repatitive titles work well for Yahoo. I was astounded to see that the top ranking sites for my words had titles of about 65 words. I added to my title and moved up quite a bit on Yahoo. I really hope it doesn't screw me over for Google though.

Be careful, Google doesn't like long titles.

I believe Yahoo likes on page like was was mentioned before ... but I'd like to add that Yahoo also prefers lots of content on the page. The more text the better. Of course not just crap text but I find that my pages that do best in Yahoo have quite a bit of text on them. Of course with a good KW density.
