Could be a reference to "internet 2" which is a very ugly thing coming along. You can forget net neutrality after that. If you aren't on the "approved" list of domains to be visited (that is 'anything' that the powers that be don't want you to see because it is counter to tyranny and 'real' news) the you might be allowed to have your little website, but if the big ISPs put it on their blocklist unless you pay higher fee to get to anything outside of their little world- then it will effectively shutdown alternative news sites for lack of visitors.

This net neutrality fear mongering is getting out of hand... Private companies can offer the services they want. Why would ISP X deny you access and lose customers to ISP Y? The only way the internet will ever become limited is through government regulation -- and that seems to be what you idiots are clamoring for.

You net neutrality fools are inviting disaster by demanding that the government require ISPs to act a certain way.

Well, Lord, thank you(?) for that reaction to my post, because it sure didn't seem like a "response".

What you can't even allow yourself to comprehend I don't think is that here in the U.S. there are about 6 major corporations that control
everything. Your cable tv, no matter who your provider is. All the little ones still have to get their section of the pipe from a bigger fish. If
I am limited to only a few thousand 'pre approved' sites, unless i pay higher fees, then aren't I effectively being kept from (in this case) alternative views that I don't see on the mainstream corporate controlled media? If you know where to look, it's been acknolwedged that CIA is on the staff at every major news outlet in this country. Sure, Fox news slants this way a little, the others have their slant... but by and large there is alot of information that they simply do not decide to put on their broadcasts. We grew up in this country believing oh, look at 'that' country, their govt censors their news. Guess what- they ALL do. I'm not going to detail it here, but having spent 20 yrs in the military and voting for our current president 2x, which I know regret. I've talked to friends who've been stationed in Iraq (I wasn't deployed in this one, I was in Gulf War 1) and we are gearing up for a long stay there. The majority of the money is being spent on long-term, heavy concrete military bases in Iraq, dozens. Even Obama now that he has all but secured the presidency has backpeddled from saying that he is going to pull all the troops out in 18months. Now that he has what he wants...(likely the presidency) he can say he reserves the right now to act on new information? What new info, there were no wmd's, iraq was not a threat to us. Those facts aren't debatable. Impeachment hearings were going on in Washington DC just TODAY. I didn't hear anything about that on my big 3 network evening news stations. The sooner that you start realizing that the left/right paradigm is just something in your mind, and both major parties serve the same masters and the end results is the same thing, you'll be further ahead. It took me awhile, and I would have argued just like you have here. But the fact is, the major internet isp's ARE IN ON THE DEAL. So, i'm not telling the govt to tell the ISP's how to run anything. I'm objecting to the whole darn thing.

Many things, regardless of your blinders(?) which you and others deem 'conspiracy theory' have come to pass that ten years ago WERE laughed off as "conspiracy theory". For example "global warming' which morphed into 'climate change' with anyone being demonized who dared question the 'consensus'. Now that the 'consensus' is being questioned and unraveling to some degree by some of the top policy advisors of countries who have come out and said 'there was a rush to judgment and I now do not believe it was justified'- to paraphrase some of the things I've read about the subject.

Now, the 'rush' to implement carbon credits has begun as a result of the 'theory' falling apart. You are to be taxed on breathing (humans exhale Co2), and there is too much money at stake for those who have heavily invested in the global warming 'theory'. If suddenly course were reversed on this 'theory' could you imagine the bankruptcies and the other jobs that would be lost on a MASSIVE scale? So, tell meabout 'conspiracy theories'.

Those who like to pull out their cliche's about 'tin foil hats' and 'reptile people' and 'space aliens' are quickly becoming the minority and becoming the ones who are laughed at when they try to discredit legitimate folks with legit questions about issues that face society.

Which crowd do you fit into?

I could understand your 'reaction' to my post if perhaps I had come here and it was easy to look at my past posts and see that I had splattered this board with what you call 'conspiracy theory'. But I haven't done that. Yet, you came "loaded for bear". What are you afraid of? In your world is it not allowed to question something regardless of how 'sure' YOU are of your position? Whether you know it or not, those who have dissenting opinions are harrased by govt. agencies, and those who threaten the establishment- are 'suicided'.

I simply posted a response to something someone had said. Is that not allowed if it doesn't fit 'your' view and represent 'your' opinion?

So dear lord, please take a chill pill. I don't know where you are located at- but in the U.S. there is some ability still left to question our elected leaders as our founding fathers said was OUR DUTY. If by chance you are located in the (EU?) :D <- which doesn't exist until all parties ratify, but is being bullied upon the people and their ability to effect any 'real' change at their level is essentially 'gone'- then I could understand your mindset. But, that ability still exists to some extent for me here in the U.S.

    Have a wonderful day.

Time Warner, Disney, Murdoch's News Corporation, Bertelsmann of Germany, and Viacom (formerly CBS) -- now control most of the media industry in the U.S. General Electric's NBC is a close sixth.

Now, given that chart, which ones are "left", and which ones are 'right'? Which ones buck the trend and tell you
all of the truth and don't filter important news from you?
