Hi, I've downloaded an old game but can't run it on my laptop. It's windows 7 and the response I'm getting is: "The program or feature "\??\E:\INTSALL.EXE" cannot start or run due to incompatibility with 64-bit versions of Windows. Please contact the software vendor to ask if a 64-bit Windos compatible version is available." Am I to assume this is a lost cause?
Sorry if I'm sounding blonde, but do you mean run the program in XP or do I have to change the whole setting of my PC?
Right click on the program, select "Troubleshoot Compatibility", select windows XP in the list when prompted. You can choose the compatibility mode from properties of the program as well.
