Okay so I have been working steady since my product launch to start generating some traffic. I started an adwords campaign today and have been watching my traffic stats for my page. So here is what is happening. I am not getting a ton of hits but I am doing better then I have been. Today so for I have had about 30 hits from new visitors to my page. I haven't made a sell on any of those yet but they are spending a amazing amount of time on my page. All of them are. I have watched them they are spending an average of 10 mins on my page some have been on there for 20 mins the shortest time anyone has view it is like 4 mins. Is this good? Does that mean they are interested in what I am saying or is everyone falling asleep and forgetting they are on my page? I found it really interesting cause this has not been the case in recent days when I wasn't getting the targeted hits that I am now starting to get now. Most of the hits I have been getting up until now have been from affiliates that where looking at new products on clickbank or what not. So what should I think about this. Is it good or bad? Might I make my first sale soon? It has been puzzling me all day. Thanks in advance if you know what I am dealing with and have some input. Also about 1/3 of these visitors have gone on to view the order form but they didn't order. It is like I am losing them on the order form which is clickbanks order form. The link to my site is in my sig but I will post it in this thread as well incase you need to see it to help me clarify what is happening. http://theherbalhound.com
I took a quick look at your site and there doesn't seem to be anything inherently wrong as far as I can see; though I'm no expert in copywriting. With a sales page like that though, I wouldn't expect high conversion rates. An ebook like this might typically convert 1% or maybe 2% of visitors to buyers. You'll need several hundred visits before you can determine whether you need to tweak anything. I would say that $99 seems a bit pricey for an ebook. By the time tax is included at the Clickbank sales page, your price is well over $100. That might be putting people off buying. You can't really do any price point testing though until you start getting enough traffic. Hope this helps Ray
