What does rss mean in a blog?

I have many blogs,I have seen the rss,but I don't what does it mean,who can tell me?

 

They are some Code of your blog.

 

RSS means news which i published through rss submission and in the article we simple publish post that is called in other words news so all of your post is in the rss by default and blog automatically created rss.

 

RSS means really simple syndication. It is a feed that brings content to your site automatically, it updates the material regularly and gives you free and updated content all the time.

I have an RSS news feed on my desktop that supplies me all the latest news around the world and updates it regularly.

It is a great way to get new content regularly, Google loves it- fresh content regularly for searchers. Sharp bloggers are right onto this one. You only have to find out how to hook it up. It is a different hook up on different blogging platforms and for some RSS feed providers.

It works the reverse way as well, It can take your blog content and feed it to someone elses blog or site- in the same niche as you are in. So it is a good networking tool as well. But yes- get some free updated content on auto pilot and increase your ranking in the SERPS with "Really Simple Syndication RSS

If you will put RSS feed on your blog, then whenever you will add some new posts to your blog it will be published by the feed and will be obtained by the persons who have subscribed for your feeds.

It is a very nice service to do marketing of our new content to some extent.

It's a way for other people to get your fetch your latest blog content whenever you post it without having to go to your blog. This can be an application, similar to a new reader. Or it can be a custom webpage that assembles RSS content from many sources into a page of updates for you (like My Yahoo). For this reason, they are also often called "feeds". You post a blog, it gets sent out (syndicated) to all your RSS subscribers to wherever they want it. Maybe they have an iPhone app that compiles all their favorite blogs, news categories, etc in one place.

As a sidenote, podcast enclosures use RSS.

 

Its an automatic reader that is delivered to the subscriber on a daily basis. Like a newspaper, and hopefully they look forward to receiving it each day

 

you can say its a simple syndication or short summary of ur blog, it covers whole part of your blog in small part........it is very useful for readers who wants to know about your products and in business .............
