Can someone explain in simple words what does Reverse SEO technique mean? I Googled for it but I didn't get a clear answer about it.
As the name suggest it is the task where we drop the rankings of the website which we build through SEO.It is the reverse process of SEO ,it is the process of depopulate the website which we carried out through SEO.This is a fault technique and should not be carried out or else it will have an negative impact on the website.
Reverse SEO means you analyze your competitors search engine's results and do negative optimization of your competitors to decrease search engines results.
If Google cannot help then what else? Just the first link on "Reverse SEO" already explain very well of what this is. And Clinton Cimring supposedly invented this approach. It sounds very unethical to me, but I guess people are paying big bucks for it and companies are offering it.

After reading this thread, actually first time I came to know of this term. So, i searched on Google and got a complex definition which is posted by David Acer. Though, still not clear as to what it means and is it something that one can actually do.
