What does PR3 mean?

    Hi. I am new to domaining. In many forums thare is PR3 or PR4 etc. next to domain name. What does it mean or why this is useful?

    it means how important is an URL/website

    it's useful to gain traffic to website

    It's a system developed by google, it is based on backlinks, as much backlinks you have that much higher pagerank you'd have..
