What does PR measure? Let's say I obtain a higher PR by getting links on other sites that have a higher PR. Exactly, what does this get me? About the only thing I can think of -- I am an advertiser and I wish to ask for higher rates for ads on my site. Is this the answer? If true, why would anyone want to advertise with me if I had to pay to link with a site that has a higher PR? Q... who is still confused about PR...
Pr is a measure of sites linking to your site and the pr of sites linking also effects your pr also. But pr is in no way a measure of traffic your site gets. And i am still confused about pr.
I am confused how to get high pr no one willing to put other sites link on their site without asking for like 100 bucks per month and i cannot find any site that can put my sites link on theirs for either free or some exchange or maybe 100$ for lifetime link. So how to improve ranks when no high pr ranked sites puts other sites links on theirs for free?
There are loads of ways and you dont have to get links from pages with higher pr. Get loads of links from pages with the same pr as you and then your pr will increse.
QiSoftware, The reason why anyone would want to advertise on your site is the value your site provides to potential visitors. Focus on content, for Content Is King. Forget about PR. PR is only interesting for Google engineers, because they can crack a bottle of beer open, click the magic button that updates Google PR and watch forums go crazy about it, LOL.
