wHAT DOES PHP Audit and ioncube do?

    I can't understand this please help
    how can a php code protect another code if the user can see the whole code :confused:
    And what will PHP Audit do? in this case

    php can be encrpyted, so the server that processes it undertands it, but a human user reading the source code cannot.

    well it would be kind of you if u could please tell me the correct section in which it should be posted so that i can request a mod to move it there :\

    another question is that if php is encrypted and the product is a free source will the reader still not be able to understand??
    this is my main confusion i guess

    This is the correct section :)

    ioncube is a way to encode your php files so that a user or person cannot copy the source code.

    Instead of the normal code, the files will be encoded looking like this:

    PHP:
    Although youll have several of lines of this depending on the size of your script. So php can still process these files you need to install the ioncude module, or load it when the script is loaded.
