I second this opinion. Even I have observed from my personal experience that it is not always the case to have higher PR web pages listed well above their lower counterparts for good many search results. Such results too initially baffled me, but then, obviously there is more to higher serps than just good PR. Regards, RightMan
ya it wil be useful in two things!! 1) improve search results 2) useful in getting sponsored postings!!
I am well aware of difference between internal PR and toolbar PR still the fact remains same...PR is just a small part of Google's algo to rank pages And its not a rocket science to check it...just Google few queries and you will definitely find a page with lower PR is ranking above the page with higher PR, even in top10..and there is no question of PR lagging, as toolbar update is just finished I know plenty of sites with PR5-6 but not ranking anywhere for their keywords and some other sites with PR3 in top10 for the same keywords PR5-6 can be easily achieved by couple of paid backlinks from PR6-7 pages with few outbound links on them...doesn't matter even if their theme is no where related to back-linked site... but what matters in ranking for any specific keyword is, that keyword in anchor text and contextual backlinks(wrapped in relevant content)...PR, domain age comes later but of course I am not against PR, as it tells the reputation of ur page to users whether its bcoz of irrelevant paid links or natural links BTW, I wonder u still live in such disbelieves after spending such a long time in the gr8 place like DP
it dose not mean any thing , google was changed his way to index , that mean if you has a high page rank you will get a more google bot
