Traffic that does not convert into what the recipient of the traffic wants it to (so if you sell advertising space on your page, but the people who click the link do not buy books for whatever reason, that traffic is non-converting).
Traffic that doesn't click on ads and doesn't buy anything online is called "non converting traffic".
I read some post that their account had been banned due to "non-converting" traffic, why would YPN or others be setup by this?
In case of YPN they have it in their TOS that roughly 70-80% of the traffic should be from USA, since YPN is only available there.
You asnwers is more informative..... thanks But why this will upset YPN........ since they can just give no payout to those traffic, and it won't hurt YPN........... why should YPN banned that account? The ideas is the webmaster cannot banned traffic from other countries.
Basically non-converting traffic is low quality traffic. If the person has adsense ads on their site, and a lot of people click on the ads, but not a lot of them convert, adsense can ban you and will call it invalid clicks. This happens with people who bid on a lot of keywords on cheap PPC, and things of such nature. Best traffic is organic, I personally do not use PPC anymore, although adwords is normally high quality traffic. Also as to YPN - YPN ban's accounts just for fun. Check the YPN section of the forums, they will ban you for anything, they banned someone who had an Iframe on his website and called it "duplicate content". If you even have a paragraph paraphrased from another website on your website, YPN will ban you before you can spit. You can try MIVA, they are more open to any types of traffic, and have a very nice system for setting up the ad's -- and they allow adult traffic / adult content, etc. (not sure if that concerns you though ) Good Luck
I do not concerns about adult content, but interested to see MIVA,,,,,,, the first time I heard abouth this PPC provider......... are they good? how do they pay, paypal?
Check / ACH, They might pay paypal I am not sure. http://www.miva.com/us/content/partners/overview.asp - Im sure the any anwsers u need will be found here.
